Safeguard your login information
Follow these steps to keep your usernames and passwords secure:
- Never share your login information, even if someone claims to be from a trusted organization. This could be a scam.
- Remember that Wintrust will NEVER call or text you to ask for your usernames, passwords, or Social Security numbers. If you receive such a request, it's likely fraudulent.
- Always visit your bank's official website directly. Avoid clicking on links from emails or texts, as they may lead to phishing sites.
Report Suspicious Activity
If you receive a strange request for your personal information, passwords, or banking details — do not respond! Instead:

- Report the incident to www.ic3.gov (Internet Crime Complaint Center).
